Education Qualification | 1. Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Math and Physics at 10+2 level and a) Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. 2. Final year students are eligible to apply provided candidate should not have any present backlog and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks up to the last semester/ year at the time of AFSB testing and they produce provisional/ original degree issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement. |

Salary | IAF Offers You Pay on Commissioning (As per 7th CPC). Rank Pay as per Defence Matrix Level MSP Flying Officer Rs. 56100-177500/- 10 Rs. 15500/- Plus other allowances and privileges + insurance covered. Note. Flight Cadets shall receive a fixed stipend of Rs.56,100/- per month during one year of training. |
Age Limit
(a) Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2025 i.e. born between 02July, 2001 – 01 July, 2005 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 year i.e. born between 02July, 1999 – 01 July, 2005 (both dates inclusive).
(b) Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2025 i.e. born between 02July, 1999 – 01 July, 2005 both dates Inclusive).
Marital Status
Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course and marriage is not permitted during training. A candidate who marries during the period of training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him/her by the Government.
